After an internship with Gehl Architects, two students from the University of Washington in the U.S. have produced a handbook on strategies for making better urban spaces for citizens of all ages based on their experiences with the Gehl approach and the Danish bicycle culture.
Danish Cycling Culture For Urban Sustainability Dreams on Wheels is a conceptual exhibit promoting urban cycling as a personal transportation alternative. It provides an overview of best practice from Denmark concerning cultural planning, innovative industrial design, and city planning.
