The Municipality of Copenhagen have published their new bicycle account for 2013-2014, and it shows positive results. Almost 50% of those who work or study in Copenhagen arrive by bike.
After an internship with Gehl Architects, two students from the University of Washington in the U.S. have produced a handbook on strategies for making better urban spaces for citizens of all ages based on their experiences with the Gehl approach and the Danish bicycle culture.
Today, the Cycling Embassy of Denmark met with a delegation from the Heinrich Böll Foundation. The delegates are in Copenhagen this week to study the European Green Capital 2014.
