The Danish Road Directorate has just published a new comprehensive report containing facts and examples of how to facilitate projects that can improve conditions for cyclists.

Since 2009 the Danish government has set aside 180 million DKK (around 24 million Euros) annually in a national Cycling Fund. Over this five-year period, the Cycling Fund has supported 388 projects all over Denmark. The grant is also known as the Danish bicycle billion.
