Make cycling a part of urban planning and policy, Danish minister tells Britain

The Danish Minister for Transport, Henrik Dam Kristensen, gives his advice to Britain.“I personally believe that a holistic approach to infrastructural planning is the way forward in order to secure wide-ranging, efficient and safe bicycle solutions – in both Denmark and Europe. This is also one of the key messages of the British ‘Cities fit for cycling’ campaign initiated by The Times. By building the right infrastructure, cycling can not only become a quick and healthy way to get around, but also a safe and enjoyable option.”
