Leadership Award for Cycling Promotion 2011
Tonight, the Cycling Embassy of Denmark will name the winner of the Leadership Award for Cycling Promotion 2011 at the Velo-City 2011 conference in Seville.
We have collected nominations from people all over the world since late last year using our newsletter. A lot of prominent cycle advocates have been discussed, but we finally decided to award;
an outstanding example of how a committed activist can raise public awareness and mobilize citizens in a joint effort to demand a livable city. The results of the award winner’s great dedication and professionalism are an inspiration to the whole world.
You can read who will follow Mike Bloomberg and Roelof Wittink later tonight in Seville, at www.cycling-embassy.org , or www.twitter.com/cyclingembassy/
