London Sky Ride
5 September from 9.30am – 4pm at The Mall, North Horse Ride by St. James’s Park
Fun cycling games for children at all ages!
The Embassy of Denmark in London and the Cycling Embassy of Denmark are taking part of Mayor of London’s Sky Ride and are planning a day of fun cycling games for children and their parents. A Danish instructor and a number of local cycling instructors will teach teams of children about Danish cycling practices. Children will be encouraged to learn safety and new techniques on their bikes through six different cycling games, demonstrated by the instructors. There will be leaflets describing the different games to take home and Scandinavian Kitchen will hand out Danish sweets!
We encourage participants to bring their own bicycles and safety helmets, but there will also be a variety of bikes available at the location, lent by Velorution, a London-based family cycling shop. Find out more on their website at www.velorution.biz.
This free event will take place at St. James’s Park in central London and will start at 9.30am and go on to 4pm.
We will be in the Family Zone at The Mall, North Horse Ride by St. James’s Park. For a map of the area, please click here.
