Troels Andersen was representing Fredericia Cycle City at the Seminar ‘Connecting Communities’ 25th March in Scotland. The aim was to focus on how local authorities can help communities shift to sustainable transport. Scotland has the world’s most ambitious carbon reduction targets. A team from the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee is working with Fife Council to co-design a strategy to reduce community carbon emissions. Troels Andersen presented recommendations on cycle promotion from Danish cities. These recommendations fits well into the planning of a Scottish demonstration cycle city supported by Sustrans Scotland.
